Scuba Diving in Roatan, a Different Side of the Island
Discover a different side of Roatan diving with small groups, personalized attention and access to beautiful reefs away from the island’s busiest dive areas. From our base on the north side of the island, we can also organize diving in different areas of Roatan depending on conditions, experience and what you want to explore.

Quieter Reefs, More Personal Diving
Most diving in Roatan is concentrated around the island’s busiest tourist areas. Scuba Nomad offers another perspective. From our base in the Mud Hole area, we regularly dive reefs where boat traffic is much lighter and the experience feels more relaxed and personal.
Our location also gives us flexibility. We are not limited to one small group of dive sites and can organize diving in different areas of Roatan when conditions, diver experience and logistics make it worthwhile.
Quieter Dive Sites
Less boat traffic and a more relaxed atmosphere on many of the reefs we regularly visit.
Small Groups
Less boat traffic and a more relaxed atmosphere on many of the reefs we regularly visit.
More Flexibility
Personal attention, flexible pacing and an experience adapted to the divers in the group.
Why Divers Choose Scuba Nomad
Our divers often mention the same things we value most: personal attention, relaxed diving and the chance to experience a different side of Roatan.
We had an awesome time diving with Scuba Nomad! We like the small dive groups and the smooth-running dive trips.

They planned 12 amazing dives, ensuring we didn’t repeat any dive sites. Luca is a very attentive instructor.

It was very good to get a bit further east on the island and get away from the very over-dived sections of reef.

Explore More of Roatan Underwater
Roatan offers far more than one small cluster of dive sites. Depending on conditions, diver experience and logistics, we can organize diving in different areas of the island and choose sites that suit the group rather than repeating the same routine every day.
That flexibility can mean exploring walls, coral gardens, wrecks and less-visited reef sections while adapting the plan to weather, visibility and what our divers are most interested in seeing.
